The Trading Course
Part One: Medium-Term Trading
This is an approach I have traded for many years and continue to do so today. Often referred to as "Swing Trading" or "Position Trading", this approach to trading is designed to try and catch larger swings in the market, over a period of days and months.
It is still my preferred approach to trading. You do not have to be tied to a screen for hours every day. It is ideal for traders who want to take a step back from the noise in trading and focus on the bigger picture and major trends in a whole host of financial markets.
I go through the trading set-ups I look for - but that is not even half of the story when it coems to trading and what I cover. Anyone can click buy or sell. Critical parts of any trading plan include managing risk; placing stop-losses to exit if the trade doesn't work out; adding to winners; when to exit the trade; and the importance of keeping good records.

Part Two: Shorter-Term Trading
I've always been an active trader over short-term term time frames, in addition to my more medium-term position trading. In October 2022 I launched the shorter-term section of the course.
This is a more aggressive approach where trades are held for hours and days. Again a mix of markets can be traded using this approach and I go through a number of the strategies I use for shorter-term trading.
But,as before, it is not just about where you get in when trading. Lots of focus is given to managing risk; where to place stops; how large to trade; running positions and when to take profits.
To demonstrate the effectiveness of my shorter-term trading strategies, I trades a real account with £4,000 from November 2022 to January 2023. Closed profits over this period showed a return of 55%.
